While every Oscar nominee a lot of marketing attention since over the last year, it's interesting to see how much money the studios have spent on traditional television advertising for the nominated films.
Data from iSpot shows that since the start of 2023, Oppenheimer was the nominee that received the biggest TV push, with ads amounting to $25.7 million in estimated national TV media value.
As a way of comparison, Oppenheimer's $25.7 million spend would place the film #6 on the list of the top 50 films by TV ad media value according to iSpot. The top film on that list is Fast X, with a total of $32.4 million.
