Streaming giant Netflix continues to experiment with real-life themed experiences tied to some of its most recognizable titles.
Earlier last year, the company opened a pop-up restaurant in a Los Angeles hotel called Netflix Bites. The restaurant headlined chefs who had appeared on Netflix culinary shows like Chef’s Table: BBQ and Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend.
Netflix has just announced that it is opening up a new space in the Las Vegas Grand MGM, in a space once occupied by the former Avenue Cafe.
When this version of Netflix Bites opens early in 2025, it will feature breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is set to run for a year. There's no word yet on what the food direction might be or what Netflix shows might be highlighted.
Last year, Park MGM launched Chef Truck, inspired by the food truck in the movie Chef and subsequent Chef Show for Netflix, with Jon Favreau and Roy Choi. The chefs reprised their respective roles to curate a menu that features Cubano sandwiches, crunchy croquettes, and spicy watermelon salad.
